Because it is manufactured by the unique braiding process, it is extremely flexible, allows for expansion and easily conforms to shapes and contours. It finds ready application as an protective covering in oil refineries, in wire and cable industry, in metal refining, foundries and steel mills and wherever else a high temperature barrier might be required.
